As an Executive Director and Asia Pacific Head of Cash Network Management within our Network Management team, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and overseeing the regulatory and operational performance of our portfolio of Agent Bank providers. Your role will also involve managing internal relationships with departments such as Human Resources, Commercial and Investment Bank Finance and Business Management, and Corporate Staff, serving as a crucial link between the business and its markets and providers. Furthermore, you will engage closely with senior-level stakeholders, advocating for business needs, acting as a primary point of contact, and providing insights on market standards, changes, and trends.
Job responsibilities:
Manage the Asia Pacific Cash Regional team to ensure they demonstrate a deep understanding of and compliance with Legal and Regulatory requirements for all jurisdictions requiredEnsure accuracy of the regulatory oversight activities performed by the team and their adherence to policy and procedural deadlinesAct as an escalation to senior management for any issues that might impact the completion of legal and regulatory requirements and formulating remediation plansRepresent Network Management during committees and governance forums with accountability for the quality of the materialsReview and provide sign-off recommendations on New Business Initiatives (NBIAs) and articulating the associated risks with new/prospective engagements to senior managementManage in region crisis events impacting the Line of Businesses and their markets and communicating critical information to senior management. Coordinate with other Regional Heads and the Global Heads to ensure a consistent approach is maintained across Network Management and driving best practice and innovation initiatives.Be responsible for ensuring the team maintains a culture for partnership, collaboration and knowledge sharing.Serve as a single point of contact for Network Management with Human Resources, Commercial and Investment Bank Finance and Business Management and Corporate Staff and demonstrate a deep understanding of their network and productsInteract with Senior Management regarding strategic management of the networks, relationships and advocacy opportunities, ensure Network Management colleagues are kept abreast of the needs and strategy of the Business, building common goals and delivering the businesses objectives, and offer and implement solutions to address challenges, identifying developing trends across markets to help offer a competitive advantageUnderstand, articulate, and influence strategic spend management and service delivery outcomes to senior managers in Network and measure feedback and/or satisfaction against Network Management’s performance and being responsible for Year-on-Year improvementRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplinesAt least 10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with expertise in Network ManagementStrong understanding of the regulatory environment within the Financial Services industry and its impact on business strategyDemonstrated relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skillsLeadership experience with agent banks or non-bank financial institutionsExperience with Third Party Oversight, risk, control, and regulatory managementDeep knowledge of core Cash Products, including but not limited to, High Value/Low Value clearing, Account Solutions and Cross-CurrencyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior managementExcellent attention to detail and ability to coach teamsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables across various stakeholdersPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Prior experience in Cash Product will be an advantageFluency in Mandarin will be an advantage to deal with clients and stakeholders in the Greater China regionSelf-motivated and disciplined, with a focus on delivering high-quality workCapability to focus on details while maintaining a strategic point of viewAbility to build and maintain collaborative relationships to achieve results
