Job Description:
Actalent is seeking multiple Asbestos Project Monitors to conduct on-site asbestos project monitoring across the 5 boroughs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. This position involves documenting project progress via tablet, performing air sampling and analysis, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication skills are crucial for working with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:Perform on-site asbestos project monitoring to ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.Use a tablet to document project progress, collect data, and generate reports.Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.Conduct air sampling and analysis to assess asbestos levels and ensure a safe working environment.Maintain accurate records of project activities and findings.Essential Skills:Experience in environmental science and fieldwork.Up to 3 years of experience in asbestos project monitoring or a related field.Valid Asbestos Project Monitor certification.Experience with air sampling and OSHA 10 certification.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Additional Skills & Qualifications:HAZWOPER certification is a plus.Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.Ability to use a tablet for fieldwork and data collection.Perks:Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.Travel reimbursement for site-to-site travel.Weekly pay.Please apply to this posting for immediate consideration!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
