Specific Duties and Responsibility:

Producing high quality, detailed work in a variety of mediums (lettering, illustration, sculpting, paint, woodworking, etc.)Constructing signs out of various materials – including but not limited to vinyl application, using power tools to cut out detailed parts, prep sanding, painting/lettering, and final assemblyAssist with constructing props and staging, animated characters and figuresMust be well organized and capable of maintaining a clean and safe work environment while keeping the shop tools and paint are kept in good working orderAssist other maintenance departments with park tasksRepair and replace leather work on the Silver Star CarouselAll other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 yrs. oldPrevious sign or art work experience preferredKnowledge and experience in pneumatic systems preferredMust have experience in creating stage props and stagingMust be able to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and overtime as assignedMust have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving recordHighly motivated, self-starter, detail-oriented, and ability to work well unsupervisedMust be able to use ladders, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel repeatedlyMust be able to lift up to 50lbs
