**Job Description**
**Summary:**
Responsible for supervision of site Security staff in order to provide protection of persons and property, prevention and detection of crime and the general maintenance of peace and order. Coordinates and keeps the shift supervisor/sergeant and site supervisor/lieutenant informed of activities, needs and problems. Coordinates, schedules and monitor Security activities to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff patients and visitors and to protect Kaleida property and other assets.
**Education And Credentials**
**Responsibilities:**
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related area; or its equivalency of a minimum of 60 semester hours with an emphasis on criminal justice/criminology preferred. NYS Armed Security Guard or NYS Police Officer upon hire required. NYS Pistol Permit upon hire required. CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required. A successful candidate may have either the NYS Armed Security Guard Certification or have their NYS Police Officer.

1 year of experience as a Security Guard preferred. NYS Drivers License Upon Hire required.

**Salary Range:** $22.65 -$31.15
