Job Purpose

At Unilever Food Solutions, our purpose is to Free Chefs to love what they do.  We work with Hotels, Restaurants and Caterers to create exciting menus that are good for diners, and good for the planet.  Our brands include Knorr Professional & Best Foods— trusted and used by chefs and F&B operators every day.

Main Responsibilities

Manage performance of sales team , distributors and our operators  within the assigned area to achieve sales targets.Oversee field sales performance, focusing on sell-in/sell-out, distribution coverage, product merchandising, and sales call effectiveness.Implement strategies to improve team productivity, quality of work, and adherence to customer service standards.Develop and implement sales plans, allocate sales targets and routes to each sales representative, and monitor progress against targets throughout the month. Take corrective action as needed to ensure target achievement.Lead initiatives to maintain and expand the customer base within the assigned area. Support sales representatives in resolving customer issues, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strong customer relationships.Ensure visibility and activity are executed according to plan, communicating with customers in a timely manner, aligned with country plans and resource allocation.Collaborate effectively with internal business support functions o ensure smooth and efficient operations and support the overall business growth plan.Provide regular and accurate reports and feedback to Line Manager. Proactively escalate any critical issues or opportunities to senior management.Manage, develop, coach, and motivate sales team to consistently deliver aggressive sales growth targets and build a robust sales talent pipeline.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

3-5 years of experience in sales supervisor or sales manager.Experience in FMCG business; Experience in Food & Beverage related categories are preferred.Experience managing and coaching sales teams or distributors.

Skill

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship managementAbility to develop and implement strategic account plans and sales strategies.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and coaching skills.
