Area Sales Manager

 

The role:

 

You will be responsible for achieving the planned sales, market share, distribution, and merchandising targets within a specified geographical area. In this role, managing sales and field activities is key, along with evaluating, guiding, and implementing all programs within the defined region. Supporting the Regional Sales Manager, you will contribute to the development of both national and regional sales strategies. Additionally, you will ensure that all systems and procedures are properly implemented in line with company policies and standards.


The location of the position will be in Bursa and will report to Regions Sales Manager, West-2.


What will you do – responsibilities: 

 

Sales & Budget Management: Meet or exceed sales volume, market share, defined targets. Allocate, control, and optimize the regional Trade Marketing (TM) and selling budget. Strategic Sales Initiatives: Develop, propose, and implement sales and merchandising strategies, campaigns, and special projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Report on activity effectiveness and impact. Trade Marketing & Merchandising: Oversee the allocation of trade marketing resources and ensure the effective execution of all merchandising programs. Manage distributor inventory levels, A/Rs, and channel-based activities. Field Execution & Compliance: Conduct extensive field visits to ensure adherence to sales and merchandising strategies, guaranteeing flawless execution at retail. Operational Planning & Reporting: Review all operational figures, forecast annual performance, and produce quarterly and yearly operational reports to meet targets. Assist in regional and national strategic planning efforts. Strategic Negotiations: Drive strategic negotiations with key stakeholders, ensuring optimal agreements that enhance business performance and market competitiveness.

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum of 5 years management experience Experience regarding follow-up and control of the sales team activities University Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of upper-intermediate English language skills (speaking & writing) Experienced leadership skills, people management skills Mobile to travel & work within different locations in Turkey
