Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking an Area Safety Manager to join our team located in Roseville, MN. The Area Safety Manager is responsible for providing direction, advice, and assessment to area management in safety, health, environmental, and related issues (i.e., regulatory policy and procedures, safety standards, and best practices) for compressed gases cylinder businesses-LGE Central West Region.

What you will be doing:

Supports Health, Safety, and Environmental activities within the Central West RegionAudits performance and compliance with policies, programs, and proceduresDevelopment and review of proactive safety and health programsIdentifies new health and safety programs needs or changes to existing programsAdvises and represents Company during regulatory actionsAttends operations meetings to review health safety concerns and issuesConducts Safety Meetings on topics designed to promote an understanding of company policies, programs, proceduresParticipates as a technical member on Health and Safety Committee, and assists in driving completion of meetingsManages safety equipment inspection and testing programs, and maintain equipmentInspects emergency plant safety equipmentConducts site surveys to assure compliance with Corporate Health and Safety policies, programs, procedures and guidelines, and proper work practices needed to maintain a safe and healthful operation and work siteCompletes health and safety surveys as assigned, and prepare reports on observationsRefers non-compliance conditions, uncooperative supervision, illness or accident trends to Regional Health and Safety ManagerPerforms root cause analysis on all Regional safety incidents/accidents; Ensures preventative actions are implemented Accountable for overall safety performance as a RegionAccountable for overall ACMS performance as a RegionAccountable for Green File compliance at the Roseville, MN locationOther duties as assigned
