Role Description

Scania is now seeking a Real Estate Area Manager in the Asian Pacific Region to join our diverse and passionate team. It is a requirement to live in Asian pacific area. In this role, you'll be the backbone of support for our Business Units, guiding them through various real estate projects. Whether it's constructing new facilities or extending or refurbishing existing spaces, you will ensure that each project reflects our high standards and brand image. Reporting to the Head of Scania Real Estate Services AB, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global network.

 

Responsibilities Lead real estate projects across the Scania network, ensuring they are completed smoothly, on time and within accolated budget. Work closely with Regional and Business Unit teams to plan and execute projects that align with our goals. Act as a trusted advisor for Commercial Real Estate projects, offering guidance and support throughout the process. Champion affordable and eco-friendly solutions that benefit both our business and the environment. Keep tabs on project progress using user-friendly Project Management IT systems, stepping in to solve any issues that arise. Visit project sites as needed, offering hands-on assistance and support to our hardworking teams. Collaborate with the Facility Standards organization enhance and upgrade design, layout and construction concepts.

 

Qualifications Degree in architecture, building construction engineering, or related field. Previous post-graduate working experience in how to run a real estate project, ideally in the automotive sector. Proficiency in software such as REVIT and AutoCAD. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Passion for sustainability and interest in emerging trends like electric vehicles.

Location

This role can be remote however, you will need to be able to be on site in Singapore at least once a month. Please note that this role will involve a lot of international travel and to Södertälje, Sweden.
