We are seeking a candidate with experience in people-leadership, project management, and business development. Market sectors include private site development, municipal engineering, and federal facilities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule which consists of a minimum of three days in the office each week, and up to two days per week working from home. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Manage significant projects, coordinating with clients and government agencies, and Stantec’s local and regional teams. + Lead and implement business development strategies for new clients and strategic pursuits. + Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships and play a key role in client management and satisfaction. + Mentor and empower junior staff and other team members. + Plan and manage projects and tasks to complete them on time and within budget. **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Experience with both private and public sector clients and projects + Established network of relationships in central North Carolina is a plus, especially the Raleigh-Durham area. + Registered Professional Engineer in NC or ability to obtain NC licensure within 6 months. + Successful experience in responding to Requests for Qualifications, Requests for Proposals, and Statements of Qualifications. + Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, team building and communication skills. + Experience managing junior staff, client relationships, and complex projects. + Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills. **Education and Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering + Minimum 12 years of experience in Civil Engineering _This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice._ Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other’s talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
