Area Manager / Pressure Wash- South

The Area Pressure Washer Manager's role provides leadership to our growing team at multiple locations, by maintaining a high level of expectations of Pressure Washing and timely performance and completion of all assigned operational maintenance duties and other projects or tasks.

Pressure Washing System 

Conducts site inspections on a regular basis to make sure that each site is meeting company standards including physically walking the site and recognizing potential problems before they become serious and taking preventative and corrective action to ensure that all company policies, applicable laws, and compliance areas are being followed. Work in conjunction with the Director of Operations to review and monitor the completion of all special projects being performed at your designated sites. Assists with the preparation of the quotes and operating budgets for new contracts and existing contracts. Evaluates all preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, operations, and all other maintenance programs on each site. Responds to issues as requested by the Senior Leadership Conducts quarterly maintenance audits of all defined sites in your area. Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Communication/Teamwork

Assists in coordination of contract and in-house labor. Assists Site Manager with interviews and testing of maintenance technicians. Assists Site Managers with orientation training of maintenance technicians. Intervenes in disputes between Site Management and vendors either by providing advice to Site managers or by assuming responsibility for reaching resolution. Ensures that all personnel receive appropriate training. Delegates responsibility and authority as appropriate to facilitate staff development. Review each site's performance weekly with Site Managers, promptly addressing any performance problems through coaching, training, redirection, or discipline. Promptly recognizes and encourages good performance. Monitors site performance on an ongoing basis. Addresses performance issues immediately by working with the site manager to build a plan for correction. Resolves elevated customer complaints and employee relations’ issues in a manner that is in the mutual best interest of the company and the customer/employee. Works as a team player and interacts with all internal and external customers in a friendly/efficient manner. Other tasks & duties as assigned based on business need; evening and weekend on-call required. Keeps management informed at all times in the areas of site conditions, customer complaints, and suggestions for improvement of site performance. Reports any customers/contract policy violations to management.

Supervisory Responsibility

As applicable, supervises, coaches, directs, trains, and evaluates staff; Prepares and conducts employee reviews and completes Quality Control inspections. Work with Site Manager to develop specifications and continually evaluate service needs and performance in all areas of maintenance and management. Pressure Washing Experience. Must provide own hand tools. Current and valid driver’s license required and have a safe driving record. Must be able to clear an FBI background to include badging at Airports. Willingness and ability to run errands to hardware store for maintenance supplies, cleaning supplies, or other items. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors / external parties, and across corporate divisions. Travel:

This position requires frequent travel, more than 50%. Travel includes driving between different sites. Could require travel at intervals of 30+/- days at a time in support of new contract start-ups.
