The Area Leader of Recruiting is responsible for leading the full cycle recruiting process for restaurant management positions and providing strategic support for crewmember hiring within a specific market. This role partners directly with the area leadership to assess hiring needs, execute near and long-term strategies to ensure all new restaurants open fully staffed and all existing restaurants maintain optimal staffing levels.
Full Cycle Recruiting for Restaurant Management
Manages the full cycle recruiting process for internal and external candidates to fill current and future restaurant management vacanciesCultivates a management candidate talent pipeline to coincide with the organization’s growth strategyEvaluates incoming applications and actively sources passive candidates to select management talent that aligns with the positional competencies and leadership profileDevelops market-based recruiting strategies and partnerships to support management staffing efforts in assigned geographic areasLeads the management recruiting processes ensuring consistency and a great candidate experienceBuilds Raising Cane’s employer brand presence in our communities by establishing relationships with schools, community-based organizations, and others to provide a pipeline of candidatesRecruitment Support for Restaurant Crew Staffing
Leads the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) crewmember hiring strategy and process to ensure successful hiring and onboarding to meet staffing needsResponsible for developing and executing restaurant crew staffing plans Provides a regular cadence of crew staffing updates to all internal stakeholdersAssists Restaurant Leaders and Assistant Restaurant Leaders with developing recruiting skills and routines necessary to maintain staffing levels with minimal supportPlans and executes crew hiring events as needed Cultivates strong relationships with Area and Regional Business Unit Teams to ensure recruiting support efforts are aligned with Business Unit goals and objectivesCompletes other duties as assignedQualifications3+ years of recruitment experience; restaurant experience preferredExperience working for a multi-unit restaurant, retail or hospitality company preferredExperience working in restaurants preferredDetail-oriented, organized and able to manage constantly changing priorities Self-driven, flexible, and highly energeticStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyAble to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problemsProficient with a variety of technology systems and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quicklyStrong work ethic and hands-on approachExceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and empower crewmembers and leaders at all levels of the organizationAble to work a varied schedule related to business needs including days, evenings and weekendsBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experienceAble to travel up to 50% and required to live within assigned areasPossess a valid driver’s licenseAdditional InformationThe physical work environment for this role includes a combination of working from a home-based office, representing Raising Cane’s out in the community, as well as time spent in our Restaurants. This can and will include working in a fast-paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. This requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting. It also includes working both inside and outside in varied temperatures, with and around food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.
