We are on the hunt for a seasoned, dynamic, and highly motivated Area Director of Sales (ADS) to join our fast-growing regenerative medicine company. The ideal candidate will have an impressive track record in Wound Care/Biologics Sales leadership and a deep understanding of the current market. We are looking for a “leader of leaders” that will possess a mindset to adapt, innovate and succeed. This position will report to a Senior Director of Sales (SDS). The Capital Area encompasses Washington, D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Delaware, and parts of Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia. Area Director of Sales (ADS) Job Scope and Responsibilities: Developing, executing, and communicating strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Leading a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)- including hiring, training, and performance management. Oversee sales processes and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive product development initiatives. Partnering with cross-functional support teams to align sales efforts with business objectives. Monitoring sales performance metrics and KPIs and implementing measures to improve sales productivity and effectiveness. Managing and overseeing the annual budgeting process for the defined Sales Area. Taking a data-driven approach to managing multiples sales regions and extract actionable insights to improve performance and results. Collaborating with the Senior Director of Sales and other Area Directors of Sales to build and oversee strategic plans for the Sales Zone. Extensive travel including overnight at 50-75%.
