Job Description
Experiencing warm and engaging service in luxurious surroundings is turning moments into memories for our guests at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Apply your analytical and strategic planning strengths as Director, Revenue Management, where you will successfully balance inventory and demand to maximize room revenue opportunities and guest satisfaction.
Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceManage demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the HotelOversight of sister Fairmont property. Maximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels, managing inventory and rate accordinglyRegular meetings with Asset ManagementPrepare an annual budget for approval and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible mannerMonitor transient and group booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservations distribution sourcesManagement of meeting space and food & beverage revenue optimizationMonitor key indicators of hotel performance and third-party intelligence sources to identify revenue opportunitiesOversee the Reservations Team and liaise with Front Office and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained while maximizing profitEnsure accurate and timely preparation of analytical reportsPlay an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan and budgeting processesStay current with industry changes and how it may impact demandPrepare and present weekly analytical reportsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedWhat is in it for you:
