Overview Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Director of Field Marketing to lead marketing efforts for our portfolio of independent hotels in the East region. This role will involve strategic collaboration with property teams, ownership groups, and corporate leadership to optimize marketing initiatives, drive performance, and enhance brand visibility. With 60% travel required, this position is ideal for an outgoing, self-motivated professional ready to make a significant impact. Essential Functions: Participate actively in the development of annual marketing budgets and business plans. Communicate regularly with property management and owners to align marketing goals and strategies. Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management teams to ensure cohesive strategies. Create and execute a robust customer relationship marketing (CRM) strategy and calendar. Audit property websites and third-party channels for effective content and merchandising. Oversee and guide the activities of Area Marketing Specialist(s) to maximize support and resources. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on marketing channel performance. Manage relationships between third-party agencies and property teams to ensure smooth operations. Facilitate property participation in cooperative marketing opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in hospitality marketing; multi-property experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and social calendar tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present marketing data to stakeholders, including General Managers and Owners. Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Sabre Synxis/CRS tools, and website content management systems. Highly analytical with a proven ability to evaluate data and take actionable steps to optimize performance. Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator is preferred. Expertise in managing social media channels for business and knowledge of current digital and social marketing trends. Outgoing, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires approximately 60% travel, working closely with properties across the portfolio. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $100,000.00/Yr. - $130,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
