The Church History Library is seeking a full-time processing archivist to arrange and describe records related to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members. This position will assist the US/Canada Team in the Archives and Area Support Division of the Church History Department in processing, cataloging, arranging, housing, and indexing archival collections in its purpose to help God’s children keep and make sacred covenants. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in history or library/archival science. This paid internship is anticipated to last one year (12 months). It is a full-time (40 hours per week) hourly, nonexempt position. The candidate must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from (within the last 12 months), an undergraduate or graduate-degree program. Preference will be given to history/MLIS majors.
