At CESO, an Architecture Manager oversees all aspects of technical responsibilities, including QC, scope and fee management, and development/growth of staff within a Business Unit. You will have primary responsibilities that include:Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide Architectural team leadership of technical and design efforts, including Quality Control, workload balancing and staffing needsServe as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned areaSupervise staff and technicians, and act as team resource on complex issuesOrganize and lead sessions with production team to discuss current events, share best practices, and identify new opportunities for influencing resultsResponsible for the architecture team budget, labor hour utilization, and participating in development of best practice standards and proceduresCommunicate best practices to architecture and design team and ensure understanding and compliance with roles, responsibilities, standards, procedures, and specificationsProvide guidance to Architectural teams by delegating and coordinating the work of the teams, working with Team Leaders to assemble well-balanced teams of Designers, Interior Designers, Architects and other production staff to execute the design and construction document processOversee and guide the design construction documentation process of projects produced using computer aided design (CAD) and/or building information modeling (BIM) softwareServe as quality assurance and quality control leader and reviewer in the companyReview the work of others and provide feedback and/or redlines for others to addressManagement and guidance of the team’s overall flow and quality of work within the Business UnitProvide interpretation of company and AHJ standards on all designs and layouts for team membersProvide high level of customer service to team members, clients and potential clients, including setting and attending team and client meetingsAssist teams with coordination of drawings and design information produced by subconsultants, including the oversight of Civil, FP, S and MEP document reviews to assure coordination with architectural designsWork with team members to establish, maintain and/or implement company drawings in compliance with company drawing and CAD/BIM standardsMaintain regular and effective partnerships with Business Unit Leaders, Market Leaders, Practice Area Leaders and other Technical Leaders to determine staffing models and ever-evolving prioritiesPerform other project and supervisory duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesEstablish team composition, balance workload among teams, and align project teams with project managers and clientsDetermine staffing levels and needs, interview, and provide feedback to Recruiting regarding potential candidates for open positionsComplete and administer staff performance reviews and development plansPosition RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 10+ years’ experience as a registered architect; or in lieu of a degree, 20+ years of Architecture experience with a current registrationExperience leading a teamArchitectural License (active) requiredCSI – CCS and/or CDT certification preferredLEED certification preferredKnowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Rendering Software, Photo Editing Software, Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travelBenefits and PerksFlexible and Hybrid Work SchedulePaid Time Off – Credited to You 100% Upfront401K with a Company MatchRewards and Recognition ProgramTraining and Development to Foster Professional GrowthPaid HolidaysMedical / Dental / Vision Coverage including High Deductible Health PlanWelcome BoxCasual Dress CodeReimbursement for Professional LicensesPaid Time Off for Community Team Service EventsShort-Term / Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Maternity / Paternity LeaveEmployee events such as lunches and outings to foster a positive work environmentCESO is a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity.
