Overview: The Senior Aviation Project Manager will spearhead aviation projects, starting with Dulles International Airport, with plans to expand to additional local projects. The role involves leading project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of top-tier aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage project teams.Cultivate and maintain client relationships.Support the planning and design of aviation facilities.Develop project strategies, methodologies, and schedules.Define and validate project scope, fees, budgets, and services.Utilize Deltek Project Management system for project oversight.Negotiate fees and contracts; prepare consultant agreements.Integrate sustainable design solutions.Promote a culture of client service and collaboration.Plan, organize, and manage projects; ensure effective communication with team and stakeholders.Oversee construction administration and maintain positive relationships with consultants and clients.Keep clients informed about project progress.Lead client presentations and project reviews.Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing client relationships.Engage in marketing and business development activities.Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in architecture; Master's degree preferred.15+ years of experience in architectural practice; 10 years in aviation/transportation projects.Licensed Architect; NCARB registration preferred.LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.Proficiency in Revit software.Strong client interfacing skills with project leadership experience.Experience in similar projects such as sports arenas, malls, and town centers.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
