Job Title: Architecture Drafter
Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architecture Drafter to join our team. You will work closely with the Sr. Design Engineer and Project Manager to ensure that fabrication details are cost-effective and meet design requirements. You will execute shop drawings for submittal and fabrication, help resolve any issues with fabrication details that may arise in production, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Additionally, you will attend staff meetings as required and perform other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Sr. Design Engineer and Project Manager to ensure cost-effective and compliant fabrication details.Execute shop drawings for submittal and fabrication.Resolve any issues with fabrication details during production.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Attend staff meetings as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, Architectural Design, and Construction Drawings.Fluency in 2-dimensional Computer-Aided Drafting with at least 2 years of experience.Advanced fabrication knowledge.2-Year Associate Degree in Drafting and Design.Experience with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and Revit.Additional Skills & Qualifications3D Design skills.Architectural design experience.Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and creative, with a fun and light-hearted atmosphere. The team enjoys a balance of humor and professionalism while getting the job done. The workspace is high-tech and well-organized, located in a cool open back warehouse with individual workstations. The 3D lab is equipped with state-of-the-art 3D printers and automation equipment, with plans to add more technology for custom work. The drafting team consists of about five members, and the CAD Manager leads the team. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours if required for large projects. The company operates under tight deadlines, promoting a positive and proactive work environment to meet these challenges.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
