Role description:
Arcadis is looking for an Intermediate Architect / Architectural Designer with experience in delivering industrial projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for a passionate, well-organized, and self-motivated individual to take on dynamic and technically challenging projects both locally, nationally, and internationally. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, possess strong oral and written communications skills, and have a holistic understanding of the design process.
Role accountabilities:
Contributes to the development of light and heavy industrial building architectural designs by preparing models and working drawings following company and/ or client standards using Revit and AutoCAD Producing drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards Collaborating closely with team and senior staff supporting the design and technical tasks Coordinating architectural design with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and physical security disciplines Prepares submission packages under the direction of the architect or project leader, to meet project timelines Produces drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing reviews and responses to RFIs Manages workload and budget required for the completion of assigned tasks Work on multiple projects at the same timeQualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years' related experience in an architectural firm, designing complex projects with a preference toward industrial experience Registration with NCARB and AIA membership is an asset Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred Proficiency with Revit is required Proficiency with Navisworks is an asset Detailing knowledge and skills Experienced with MS Office, MS Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Highly organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment Excellent oral and written communication skillsWhy Arcadis?

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $62,000-$105,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
