Architect or Architectural Designer
What You Will Do:

As Gannett Fleming continues to grow and expand our operations, both nationwide and overseas, we are looking for a dedicated Architect or Architectural Designer to advance their career with our growing Federal presence and client offerings. This position will require extensive travel.

In this role, you will need to be a dedicated expert in existing conditions assessment with a positive attitude to support and lead architectural and multi-disciplined survey teams. This process will challenge you to consistently collect information, store and manage data, translate to findings and reports, and coordinate with all discipline experts. Your area of focus will be nationwide at varied and diverse federal and military base installations. Assessment complexity and team sizes will vary, which will require you to be adaptable. Extended travel is required and must be expected.

As Architect/Architectural Designer, you will have the following responsibilities:

· Engage in site visits and assessments. These sites will be in various United States regions. 

· Potentially lead teams of architects and engineers in site visits and assessments.

· Understand engineering systems to be able to accurately inspect and record on-site conditions.

· Produce detailed and concise reports and analyses.

· Produce visualizations for client presentations.

· Work collaboratively and positively in a team environment.

· Work independently within small teams.

Education | Experience:

 

Bachelor of Arts/Science in Architecture is required.  B.Arch or Master of Architecture degree is preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural production and is required. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction administration or managing construction phase services is preferred.Strong organizational skills are desired.Strong data compilation and reporting skills are desired.Experience with Microsoft Office products.Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu is required.Candidate must be willing to do extended travel and be away for up to 2 months at one time.Candidate must have a working knowledge of current International Building Codes, UCC Code, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards such as ANSI, ASTM, ASHRAE etc.Candidate must be dynamic, creative and detail oriented.Candidate must be able to work effectively in team situations establishing strong working relationships.Knowledge of and experience with multiple facility types and federal markets is preferred.Company Overview:
