Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The Architect I role is responsible for managing the technical aspects of smaller or less complex tasks, or components of larger tasks, ensuring they meet financial, quality, time frame, and health and safety objectives. They coordinate and manage single-discipline design teams and technicians, delivering elements of larger projects in alignment with Arcadis management systems and Task Manager Academy competence requirements. This role focuses on task management, ensuring timely, quality, and budget-friendly delivery while championing internal stakeholder satisfaction and proactively addressing their needs.

Role accountabilities:

Adhere to the Arcadis behavioral framework and promote Health and Safety principles throughout project planning and delivery. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of project interfaces and compliance with German standards and codes. Prepare accurate documentation and reports, maintaining compliance with Arcadis standards and regulatory requirements. Continuously develop technical knowledge of regulations, standards, and Arcadis procedures to enhance personal effectiveness. Plan and estimate project resources to ensure timely delivery and efficient utilization. Build strong relationships with the Task Manager, Germany team, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution. Perform design reviews and quality checks to ensure alignment with project specifications, standards, and client expectations. Work with the Germany industrial team to deliver optimized and compliant design solutions for industrial projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with minimum 7 years' experience in architectural design works.  Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with demonstrable expertise in their use for industrial projects, including creating templates, parametric families, workflows, and managing documentation.  Highly organized, with the ability to structure project documents, establish workflows, and ensure consistency in templates for project teams.  Strong experience in Design; proficiency in Adobe Suite, Lumion, Navisworks and clash detection is advantageous.  Relevant sector experience in industrial design phases, including concept design, detailed design, and construction documentation.  Proven experience in performing design review and quality checks, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements and industrial standards.  Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent communication skills both in Romanian and English; German is an advantage but not mandatory.
