Job Description
The Architect will manage assigned projects while also overseeing and acting as a resource to other Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of all office projects. Projects include publicly funded K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Civic, Healthcare and S&T.
ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients and visit job sites as needed to perform various duties related to design and construction oversight.Actively manage projects and communication in compliance with project budget, schedule, and program.Prepare strategic plans for project success, monitor project progress and profitability, direct workload and project staff.Assist other project managers in the execution of their projects.Perform QA/QC on project documentation.Research and implement codes, guidelines, and standards for accurate incorporation into the design as needed.Coordinate and collaborate with team members, owner's stakeholders, governing bodies, and the construction community.Proactively navigate project issues, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them.Direct and manage Construction Administration services, including site inspections and site meetings.Direct project closeout administration and documentation.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture.Licensure preferred.Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Masterspec, Revit, CAD, Microsoft Office.Strong organization and time management skills.Strong design, graphic, and presentation competence.Experience facilitating and presenting at public meetings and forums.Experience in writing reports, business correspondence, fee proposals, schedules, and work plans.Expert in all aspects and phases of the architectural production process.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Thorough knowledge of North Carolina code requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred.8+ years of relevant experience.Work Environment
The Architect will have to report to the office for collaboration meetings and to help lead their team. We expect you to be out with customers and on site.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00
