We are actively recruiting an Architect to join our collaborative and innovative firm in our Education market sector. This position is open in multiple locations including Dallas, Atlanta, Austin, San Antonio, and Los Angeles. Please tell us which locations are of interest to you. Responsibilities

Our ideal designer is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise. Some of these responsibilities include:

 

Assist in all phases of the design process on a variety of projects in size and scopeGenerate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a projectFoster a productive partnership with the client and project delivery team through regular communication and collaboration Utilize appropriate software at a proficient level to create graphics and presentation materialsSupport the integration of the design process with other workflows and project tasksCollaborate with project teams serving as concept champions throughout the projectExecute coordination and integration of construction and consultant documentsApply knowledge of construction methods and timelinesConduct field verification and site visits as needed Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and productsActively contribute to the production of major components of a thorough set of construction documentsAssist with contract administration responsibilitiesTranslating concepts and information into imagesParticipating in the process of exploring and completing usable detailing solutions Qualifications

Qualified designers already exhibit these strengths and talents:

Degree from a NAAB accredited architecture program or equivalent4+ years of experience in commercial design; Education experience strongly preferredThe ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projectsDisplay strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing Revit proficiency and technical excellence; experience with other 3D software preferred. Interest in sustainable design Professional registration or anticipation of registrationStrong organizational and communication skillsAttention to detailFlexible attitudeAbility to collaborate in a diverse project team environment Confident presentation ability Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables and clientsExperience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are requiredWillingness to travel is strongly preferred

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually – Los Angeles locations only 

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in Los Angeles only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
