Salary: GTA Professional Rate

Report Times: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Daily Hours: 3.5
Work Year: Summer 2025

Minimum Requirements:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on middle school readiness, life skills, and relationship-building.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, self-confidence, and collaboration.
Assess and track student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
Prepare and share data regarding student progress to be shared with the BOE.
Participate in promotional efforts for the program, including attending open house events and making school visits to share information with students and families.
Be available for the full 5-week duration of the program, with a commitment to being present and engaged for the scheduled hours (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, final schedule TBD).
Desired Qualifications:
Preferred current 6th grade ARMS teacher
Preferred GTA member
Available to plan two sessions prior to the start of the summer program dates TBD
Experience working in summer programs is preferred.
Willingness to assist with promoting the program through school visits and community outreach activities.
Availability for the full duration of the program (5 weeks).
