Arbitration Analyst - REMOTE
Overview The position is responsible for providing liability analysis, evidence preparation and argument presentation related to arbitrations for USAP. At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in New York, California, Hawaii, or Alaska. Job Highlights ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ( The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation) + Analyzes and supports the analysis, tracking and data quality for a variety of programs and will be a key partner in identifying risks, communicating updates and changes, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date information is represented and accurately incorporating process and guideline changes into the program. + Assists the Sr Manager in contributing to ongoing business process improvement and departmental initiatives. + Partners closely with the Sr Manager, Payer Contracting team and leadership and reviews facts of loss and analyze/assess liability and provides support with paying decisions. + Reviews and provides insight to intercompany arbitration cases. + Helps to identify trends and reports results to leadership. + Prepares and manages filings as needed post- rotation, coordinates claims, file handling and oversight and recovery with other departments as needed. + Assists in managing all details to arbitration process by State. + Maintains all arbitration correspondence and ensures responses are timely and accurate. + Develops and maintains relationships with adjusters and partners, as needed, for clarification of detail and claim aspects. Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs): + 3-5 years of applicable experience at this level. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Access preferred. + Demonstrated ability in a metrics driven job function. + Be detail oriented with the ability to deal with conflict. + Ability to meet individual goals and collaborate with peers. + Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws. *The physical demands described here are representative of those that may need to be met by an employee to successfully preform the essential functions of this job.
