My client is a leader in the renewable energy space, is looking for an AR Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for payments, invoices, VAT returns, streamlining processes.

 Responsibilities: 

Post payments and maintain accounts receivable in SAP system Verify and assign outgoing invoices and credit notes based on commercial and tax regulations Help with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, check realisation of sales revenue or individual value adjustments of receivables Prepare advance VAT returns, ZM and INTRASTAT returns for all tax reporting countries Assist with VAT case audits of cross-border business transactions liaise with sales department, logistics and external consultants Assist with optimizing processes, to improve systems 

Requirements: 

Minimum of a completed Accounting or Finance qualification 3 years relevant practical experience in accounts receivable or a similar role  Previous experience in SAP R/3, S/4HANA, ERP systems essential High attention to detail Strong planning and organisational skills  Proactive, team player
