Apprenticeship: Development engineer for security testing training - M/F

What you'll do

 

This apprenticeship is part of a security tools training program designed for SAP developers. This internal training requires each developer to learn which testing tools to use, how to utilize them, and when to perform tests. The goal is to introduce the security testing tools (such as Github Advanced Security, Checkmarx, Zap, Burp, etc.) and explain the best practices and recommendations to follow.


The apprentice's tasks may include the following:

- Development and maintenance of an online learning platform that should contain both theoretical content and exercises. At the end, a validation test covering the various acquired skills must be implemented.
- Ensuring the connection between the platform and the application that manages training organization.
- Ensuring scalability by allowing all interested developers to train using this platform.
- Contributing to training materials for classroom and online sessions on security testing (e.g., creating new security challenges, exercises for security testing tools, producing educational videos).
- Technical coordination of the infrastructure for classroom security testing training.

- Infrastructure maintenance, including the updating and testing of virtual machines used in training sessions.
- Participating in team projects on the application of AI to cybersecurity (in collaboration with the Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle) and in Science festivals (Science education).
 

What you bring

 

The ideal candidate will have:
- Very good technical/development skills
- Knowledge in JavaScript, Node.js, Java, HTML, Python
- Willingness and proven ability to quickly acquire development proficiency in new technologies
- Fluent in English (working language)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge in Docker and Nagios is a plus
- Knowledge in Security is a plus
- Knowledge in video making is a plus

 

Meet your team

 

The apprenticeship will take place on the SAP LABS France site within the Security Testing and Open Source Software Security team, whose main mission is to support SAP developers with security testing tools.

 

Duration: 12 months
Start date: September 2025

This contract is subject to remuneration in line with the applicable collective agreement (Convention SYNTEC).
