Make a Difference 

The Apprentice Installation Technician will assist with installing and maintaining low voltage wiring systems such as alarm systems, security systems, fire alarms, network station cabling. Installers at this level will help with providing technical support to the network in the form of site surveys, planning and coordinating new cabling work, among other infrastructure requests. Apprentice installers will work under the direct supervision of Supervisor and Sr Technicians and could work anywhere within the Enterprise on campus or at remote office locations. Installation and termination of Cat-6 cabling will be the primary tasks required.

 

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications 

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. 

High School Diploma or GED required. Current Indiana Driver’s License with valid vehicle insurance. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of general electrical cable installation, maintenance and repair strongly preferred.  Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues This position will require support of any Community Health Network site of care within the major support region and will require local travel.
