The Application Systems Analyst will design, implement and support complex information systems based on user requirements, research and personal experience. Impacts proper design and utilization of applications and systems throughout the institution, including the Enterprise Imaging Platform.
Applications Systems Support
Provides application support for end users. Administers and maintains specialty applications and systems within Core Clinical Systems as required. Ensures patient data reliability, security and integrity.
Complex Problem Solving
Analyzes patient care & systems workflows to solve complex problems taking into consideration system capacity, limitations and availability. Works closely with Sr. ASA/Prin. ASA to implement changes.
Maintain Standard Configurations
Updates existing system master files and configuration to meet user, regulatory, division or institutional requirements.
Maintain System Documentation and Procedures
Creates and maintains documentation for assigned applications; including end-user guides, test plans, disaster plans and acceptance documentation.
Other duties as assigned
Education Required: Bachelor's degree.
Experience Required: Two years' experience in domain, analysis, design, project management, programming or Epic software. May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
Preferred Experience: Healthcare Information system experience and/or Sectra imaging experience.
