We are seeking an experienced region applications engineering manager specializing in wellbore construction and lower completions. This role involves leading a team of application engineers and fresh graduate engineers, overseeing technical planning and preparation of all activities within Europe, North Sea and Caspian areas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in wellbore construction and lower completion, with at least 5 years in an applications engineering management role.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and develop a team of applications engineers and fresh graduates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.Technical Planning: Oversee and support the technical planning, preparation and validation of all wellbore construction and lower completion activities in the assigned region, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Baker Hughes standards.Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their well construction and production objectives, providing tailored technical solutions and supportPerformance Analysis: Analyze job performance and provide feedback for product and process improvements. Perform offset job analysis and product/service specific engineering modelling calculations to understand application hazards and incident potential.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with service delivery coordinators, service delivery managers, sales teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in wellbore construction and lower completion, with at least 5 years in an manager role.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of wellbore construction, lower completions, and related technologies. Proficiency all associated product line specific modelling (e.g. hydraulics, torque and drag, tube move, etc.)Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop cross-border engineering teams, witch excellent communication and interpersonal skill.Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.Client Focus: Experience in client interactions, with a strong commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.Language Skills: Fluency in Azerbaijani and English is required; proficiency in Russian is preferred.Travel: Willingness to travel as required to customer facilities, meetings, and training sessions.
