Applications Engineer - RF Solutions

Responsibilities 

Functional / Design Verification testing of hardware and software for RF Product LineSet up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of prototype electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems for performance, reliability and usabilityRecord and report test resultsCreate documented procedures and processes related to testing products for use in productionAssist production in resolving R&D related production issuesProject involvement and issue/deliverable trackingAssisting customers and Evertz sales team with RF solutions selection and system design, while maintaining a strong and professional relationship with all customers.Assist with RF related RFP and RFI proposals by providing the most cost effective and innovative solution, with accompanying system drawing.Ability to travel to customer sites regionally and overseas to conduct demos and customer meetingsBeing able to travel regionally and overseas at any required time
 

Qualifications: 

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Computer/Networking EngineeringExperience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is an assetFamiliar with troubleshooting techniques and the ability to read technical drawings and schematicsStrong manual dexterity and experience working with test measuring toolsPassion for learning new technology software and hardwareExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational, planning, time management and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi task in a fast paced environmentAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and initiativeAttentive to the needs of customers, responds quickly and competently to customer requestsAdept at learning and adapting to new technologies
