Job Title: Applications EngineerJob Description The Applications Engineer will be customer-facing, empowering customers to utilize M5 equipment to drive their products to market faster. This person will provide support to customers through Zoom calls, emails, troubleshooting, and onsite visits (both domestically and internationally). The role requires international travel 5-10% of the time and local travel within Milpitas/South Bay Area as needed (travel expenses will be covered). Responsibilities + Provide customer support through various communication channels including Zoom calls, emails, and onsite visits. + Assist customers in utilizing M5 equipment to expedite their products' market entry. + Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to test and measurement equipment. + Teach customers the basics of test and measurement equipment. + Travel internationally 5-10% of the time and locally within the Milpitas/South Bay Area as required. Essential Skills + Experience with test and measurement equipment. + Proficiency with protocol analyzers. + Ability to provide applications support. + Clear communication skills. + Background in Electrical Engineering (EE), sales, and protocol review. + 4+ years of experience in a role working with test and measurement equipment. + BS in Electrical Engineering (EE). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in teaching and training customers on the use of test and measurement equipment. Work Environment The Applications Engineer will be working closely with the local Milpitas team, including other Engineers, the Lead Applications Engineer, and managers. The role involves collaboration within a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of advanced technology and high reliability in industrial growth markets such as aerospace, defense, environmental monitoring, and medical imaging.
