General Responsibilities

The Application Analyst must be able to coordinate and validate the functioning of automated systems for production control and the workflow of the data processing center.

Responsabilities:

• Configure, manage, and monitor automated file transfers to reduce human error and improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data during transfer, such as encryption and the use of secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and others) to prevent unauthorized access.
• Quickly detect and respond to any issues or failures in file transfers, ensuring efficient recovery and minimizing the impact on operations.
• Work with other departments and external partners to ensure file transfers are performed in a coordinated and secure manner.
 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming/Science from an accredited university
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience related to applications management, monitoring applications performance, analysis for troubleshooting the application, and definition of processes for data workflows.
 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS & Connect Direct)
• Knowledge in UNIX or Windows Server administration.
• Apache Tomcat administration knowledge, desirable.
 

 

Additional Information

9:00 am a 6:00 pm Sunday to Thursday 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
