Your role and responsibilities

Mission StatementTo develop and maintain Drive Products Application support at Bangalore in order to improve ABB Drive Products Superior customer experience reach by market penetration & retaining existing customer base..In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead technical expertise assignments of medium complexity. Each day, you will contribute to the development of technical expertise solutions and services. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of technical expertise business strategy.The work model for the role is : #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to Motion Drive Product business division based in Hyderabad, IndiaYou will be mainly responsible for:Planning and Execution•\tTo primarily focus on Technical support of VFD/SERVO/PLC to the Channel Partners / OEMs / EU/ System Integrators.•\tFor more complex problems should attend the site with CP/OEM’s engineers and escalate to Product engineers if any support required•\tAchieve the sales target for Drive Products division for assigned geography/account.•\tAchieve the order target month on month and collect the overdue in time.Technical support•\tWork closely with the CP/OEM/SI’s and share success stories.•\tprovide enterprise-level assistance to our customers & CP/OEM engineer•\tDiagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems in VFD/servo/PLC and help our customers install the VFD/SERVO/PLC in new applications•\tApplication & programing development support to OEM/CP/EU •\tPresales activity such as technical feasibility/Machine study and selection of the suitable BOM as per the application/MachineOwnership•\tFull commitment to meet the Technical support targets & Sales targets•\tInteract regularly with CP/OEM/SI’s service engineer to drive them to meet TAT•\tCo-ordinate with CP/OEM/End customer service team for warranty and after sales support.MIS•\tRegularly give update on business & Technical calls done to product line wise •\tPrepare monthly MIS and submit to stake holders.(both Business & Tech support

Qualifications for the role

\tQualification: BE/ BTech, Diploma >5 years
