Accountabilities:
In this role, you will ensure optimum performance and stability for LIMS system as part of Laboratory
Quality Systems for AstraZeneca Operations. You will provide 2nd/ 3rd line support, aligning with
AstraZeneca standards, and change control procedures. You will also support development activities by
helping in code build and deployment, tool configuration management and administration, application
environment set up, and change and release management. You will develop specialist knowledge in
relevant systems, documenting and sharing that knowledge, as required, with global teams.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience in loading specifications into LIMS systems. 
• Experience in handling and recording samples in LIMS systems as well as their sample life cycle or process from start to finish in a laboratory. 
• Experience in data extraction and report generation in LIMS systems. 
• Experience in configuring LIMS systems in functionalities such as:
o CFR21 Part11 Module
o User creation
o Configuring user privileges
o LDAP configuration
o Label printing. 
• Creation of dashboards within the LIMS system if it is from Azenta. 
• Experience in a code language specific to the LIMS system such as Limfinity or LabWare.
• Experience in good documentation practices (GDP). 
• Experience in good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Medium-advanced experience in database management to extract data from the LIMS system using scripts or alternative commands.

Desirable experience:

• It is desirable that you have experience in integrating instruments with LIMS systems, for example, having integrated a balance into the LIMS system, or a mixer, etc. 
• It is highly recommended that you know how to create reports based on the data stored in the LIMS system. 
• Experience in the use and management of the inventory and QM module is desirable. 
• Experience in the use and management of the stability module is desirable. 
• It is desirable that you know how to install LIMS systems at the server level and at the Citrix level
 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information
Science, or equivalent degree is preferred.
