Application Support/Engineer | $100K Base Salary | Remote



Company Overview: Our legal client is seeking an Application Support/Engineer who is proficient in the full life cycle of Application support to meet business needs at any stage. They will be responsible for overseeing software design, customization, maintenance, and support across various office locations. This role involves managing Windows server environments, including Citrix configurations and updates. Strong technical skills, a proactive approach to new technologies, and a dedication to delivering excellent service to end users.



Responsibilities and Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of how applications are built to support business needs at any stage.
* Strong focus on the full life cycle Application support.
* Ability to do software installations to meet business needs.
* Provide primary technical ownership of software applications.
* Understand concepts of layered infrastructure security.
* Build and deploy Citrix VDI and XenApp disks.
* Perform Citrix XenApp administration.
* Assist with administration of Microsoft Teams, OneLogin, Group Policy, Resilio, and Cylance.
* Troubleshoot (L3) Citrix issues post migration.
* Coordinate, document, and manage software upgrades.
* Manage server backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plans.
* Document application customizations.
* Troubleshoot application errors and coordinate vendor support.
* Keep current environment updated and functioning efficiently.
* Knowledge of Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, MCS, PVS, App Layering, FAS, Cloud Connectors, FSLogix.
* Basic project management skills.
* Ability to install, maintain, and upgrade third-party custom software solutions.
* Understand hardware requirements, write technical specifications and documentation.
* Experience with root-cause analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
* Ability to multitask and bring assigned tasks to completion.
* Good scripting knowledge using PowerShell.
* Prior experience in legal or financial services preferred.
* On-call once a week roughly every 6 weeks
* Need to be located in MA, CT, NJ, or FL



Compensation/Benefits:

* $100,000 base salary
