Job Description:
Seeking a candidate who is an experienced application JavaScript developer.
The candidate should be highly motivated and a self-starter who has demonstrated successful experience architecting, implementing and supporting application solutions in a large corporate, enterprise environment. The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and should be team oriented, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
§ Work with Business Partners and other IT development groups to define and formalize requests for new applications or services.
§ Assist in architecting solutions when requests for new applications fall outside of current footprint.
§ Support development efforts following the Software Development Life Cycle.
§ Support existing applications.
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years of experience developing front-end user interface code for large scale web sites.
3+ years of application development using:
§ JavaScript including DOJO, JQUERY and JSON (at least 1 year to be current).
§ HTML
§ CSS
§ AJAX
Exposure to:
§ C#.NET
§ WCF / REST
Additional Skills a Plus.
§ ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
§ Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Server.
§ HTML5
§ Mobile application development (Android and/or IOS).
