Application Development Analyst II (Contractor)
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Application Development Analyst II to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is within the IT industry, with the main focus on application development and system analysis. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that aligns with our organization's architectural standards. Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Responsibilities: + Collaborate with team members and business analysts to understand and interpret business requirements. + Design and implement technical solutions that align with our business and IT strategies. + Code and test application software, ensuring delivery on time and within the budget. + Evaluate products and make recommendations for new code development or the reuse of existing code. + Participate in the design of data architecture components. + Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation. + Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications. + Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. + Ensure adherence to quality assurance and integration methodologies. + Maintain a solid understanding of development, programming and computer sciences. Job Description: Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Is involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within the budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. Has typically 3 - 6 years of programming/systems analysis experience. The candidate's degree, whether it's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field, would be certainly commensurate with his or her work experience. Requirements Required Experience: + 3 - 6 years of programming/systems analysis experience Required Education: + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
