CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer IBM Cloud FullStack opening for our client in New York, NY. Location: New York, NY Duration: 11 months Duties: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using IBM Cloud and various web technologies. Implement dynamic user interfaces using React, Svelte, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch to meet business requirements. Integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient database schemas using PostgreSQL. Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Participate in agile development workflows, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack of the application. Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation. Skills: Proficiency in React, Svelte, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend build tools. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch. Experience designing and integrating REST APIs. Knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Understanding of agile development workflows and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a full-stack developer or in a similar role. Proven experience working with IBM Cloud and related cloud technologies. Experience in developing and deploying applications with microservices architecture. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus but not required. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
