Overview:
Tokio Marine HCC – D&O, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an opportunity for a Application Developer in our Farmington, CT office.

As an Application Developer you will support all phases of the development lifecycle; including but not limited to analyzing user requirements, developing and testing code, responding to outages, and creating application system models.  

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate regularly with business analyst to interpret, clarify, and plan for the implementation of user stories.Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain those programs throughout the product life cycle.Review, analyze, and modify programming systems by encoding, testing, debugging, and installing appropriate technology.Integrate programs with other systems in the organization.

Other database ORM experience accepted)Strong experience with T-SQL & Stored Procedure usageUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesWPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) or AvaloniaDevExpress experience a plusMicrosoft Interop experience a plus

Web App tech:

ASP.NET backend,JavaScriptStrong .NET experience a plusGit concepts like branching, merging, pull requests, etc.General understanding of MVC and/or MVVM architectures, the role of a View/Model/ViewModelAdditional exposure and experience in Unit Testing and CI/CD build automation a plus
