CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant AWS Cloud opening for our client in Denver, CO. Location: Denver, CO Duration: 4 months Duties: Provide expert consulting and solutions for AWS Cloud applications, focusing on cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architecture, data models, and governance strategies in AWS Cloud environments. Act as a product owner for AWS Cloud-based data analytics projects, ensuring the solution meets business needs and technical requirements. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. Use agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery and maintain clear communication between stakeholders. Work with AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, and other relevant data services to implement scalable and optimized solutions. Provide guidance on best practices for data visualization and reporting using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Ensure that all AWS Cloud solutions comply with data governance, security, and compliance requirements. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in AWS Cloud services, specifically related to data warehousing (e.g., Amazon Redshift). Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and data governance. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions and data integration techniques. Proficient in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines. Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with Jira for project management. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a product ownership role with a focus on data warehouse and analytics. Proven experience with AWS Cloud-based solutions, particularly in data warehousing and analytics. Hands-on experience in working with large data sets and ensuring data quality and integrity in cloud environments. Solid experience in cloud-based analytics platforms, particularly Amazon Redshift or similar technologies. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
