AP Specialist Job Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is tasked with ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, which may include accounts payable, payroll, and other business-required transactions. This role supports the tracking of purchase orders and handles payments received from suppliers or customers. Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables, establishing and maintaining accurate records for data integrity, and researching and resolving accounting discrepancies. The specialist will also respond to inquiries and follow policies to maintain compliance with state and federal laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Hard Skills + 3+ Years experience in AP + 1+ Years experience in construction or manufacturing + Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup and Pivot Tables) + Bachelor Degree or 4+ years' experience Soft Skills + Ability to handle multiple tasks + Strong communication skills + Problem-solving abilities + Attention to detail Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
