Anticoagulation Registered Nurse (part-time) **Grand River Medical Group** 1 Positions ID: 1437172 Posted On 02/25/2025 **Job Overview** **Anticoagulation Registered Nurse** Position is for the Multi-Specialty Clinic location Grand River Medical Group is seeking a driven Registered Nurse to work within our Anticoagulation Clinic. You will be expected to work independently in a fast-paced environment while providing patient-centered, high-quality healthcare. This performing tests, scheduling appointments and overall clinic nurse duties. The ideal candidate would possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and professionalism. You will be supportive, helpful, and courteous to all team members to provide a high-quality patient experience. **This is a part-time position, typically 2 days per week (16-19 hours per week), with no evening or weekend requirements.** All nursing positions have the ability to pick up shifts at other clinic locations as desired. Grand River Medical Group's clinics are typically open from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. **Duties include but are not limited to:** + Perform waived laboratory tests, schedule appointments, and document according to established guidelines provided in the Coumadin (Warfarin) therapy guidelines. + Adjust medication dosage based on INR lab results + Assist anti-coagulated patients both in office and via telephone management to assist maintaining a safe and therapeutic dosing regimen of Warfarin. + Work with multi-disciplinaries including Home Health, Long-Term Care, and Skilled Care facilities. + Manage office responsibilities which include documentation, records, and patient outreach. + Accurately administer medications orally, IM, sub-q and IV. + Coordinate the transfer of patients to hospitals. **Education/Experience/Skills:** + Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses + Minimum two years of professional nursing experience required; clinic experience preferred + Must be a licensed RN or LPN with an active license to practice in the state of Iowa and Wisconsin. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. **We offer:** A competitive hourly wage plus a very attractive benefits package including vacation and much more.
