The Antenna and Microwave Department has an opportunity for a flexible, multi-disciplined engineer who is seeking to utilize his/her strong background in Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) radars with experience leading costing activities. The successful candidate will utilize their strong communication, both verbal and written, and organizational skills to craft strongly researched and well written engineering bids.
What You Will Do
Interface with hardware leadsWrite Basis of Estimates (BOEs) based on well thought out reasoning and defending bids to management. Support both electrical and department level proposals at 50%, department level metrics development and support at 25%, and RF/Microwave at 25%.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus minimum of 10 years direct experience OR a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus minimum of 8 years direct experience OR PhD degree in Electrical Engineering plus minimum of 6 years direct experience and any combination of the following:Experience with proposal writingExperience with cost bid generationExperience with generating TINA (Truth in Negotiating Act) compliant bidsActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S Citizenship is required, as only U.S Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
Familiarity with SBT and EPIC as well as using the PS-07 toolBeing comfortable in a multi-tasking environmentAbility to ‘read between the lines’ to understand what is required by the proposal teamStrong people skills, especially communicationDemonstrated ability to stand ground in the face of conflicting directions and move forwardExperience with array hardware development at the radar system levelStrong academic background that includes courses in: Antennas, Phased Arrays, Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar SystemsNear field range, far field range and system level verification testingTechnical writing and oral presentation backgroundWhat We Offer

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
