**Animal Research Associate** Laboratory De Soto, KS, US Pay Rate Low: 35 | Pay Rate High: 37 + Added - 11/02/2025 Apply for Job Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Animal Research Associate to join their dynamic team Contract Up to 37/hr Location: De Soto, Kansas **Responsibilities** : + Support development of viral and bacterial vaccine platforms. + Perform lab tasks such as cell culture, virus propagation, assays, and vaccine preparation. + Document results and help optimize new assays (ELISA, qPCR, IFA, etc.). + Assist with training lab technicians and new employees. + Support large animal studies and inter-departmental collaboration. + Contribute to lab safety, compliance, and maintenance. **Qualifications** : + B.S./B.A. in Microbiology or related field with 1-3 years of lab experience. + Research experience under supervision and ability to meet project timelines. + General laboratory technique knowledge. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Proficiency with Word and Excel. + Experience in bacterial culture, cell culture, viral culture, protein purification, and ELISA development. + Knowledge of serology, neutralizing antibody assays, and USDA product licensure. + Experience working with livestock animals.
