My client, an international financial institution located in Washington DC has a long-term contract position available for an AngularJS Developer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application TeamProvide maintenance, including production support, enhancement and development workWork with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as-needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirementsFollow quality standardsSupport installation of application releases into production as directedCommunicate accurate and useful status updatesComplete assigned tasksManage daily technical challenges and communicate with management any risks or issuesInteract with the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standardsCode enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standardsTest enhancement and development programsParticipate in structured code reviews / walkthroughsExecute all required process stepsCreate and provide content for all types of documentUtilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an applicationResearch problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistanceKeep abreast with latest technologies and platformsREQUIREMENTS:Must have experience building desktop applications using Electron and NodeJSComfortable using latest version of Angular JS and have experience building components for AngularJSFamiliarity with Material Design or other similar frameworksExpertise using GIT, bower, gulp, grunt, npmProficient using Nosql databasesExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsExperience creating and consuming REST APIsA good understanding and expertise with JSON schemas, Schema validationBasic Knowledge of using REducation: Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering.
