Role Summary

We're seeking an experienced Android Kotlin Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android development, experience with Kotlin programming language, and a passion for building high-quality, scalable, and efficient mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Android App Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.

2. Kotlin Programming: Develop efficient, scalable, and reliable Kotlin code for Android applications.

3. Android SDK and APIs: Work with Android SDK and APIs to develop innovative and interactive mobile applications.

4. Collaboration and Code Review: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

5. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues in Android applications using various tools and techniques.

6. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest Android development trends, best practices, and technologies.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Android development, with experience in Kotlin programming language.

3. Technical Skills:

    1. Proficient in Kotlin programming language and Android development.

    2. Experience with Android SDK and APIs.

    3. Familiarity with Android architecture components (Room, LiveData, ViewModel).

    4. Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).

    5. Experience with Agile development methodologies.

4. Soft Skills:

    1. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    2. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred skill:

1. Certifications: Certified Android Developer or Certified Kotlin Developer.

2. Experience with Other Programming Languages: Familiarity with other programming languages, such as Java or C++.

3. Experience with Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

4. Familiarity with DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
