The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience in the field and will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative Android applications. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Lead the Android development team to deliver high-quality applications that meet user needs and business objectives. + Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. + Ensure that all Android applications adhere to best practices and industry standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and QA engineers to ensure seamless project execution. + Monitor and evaluate the performance of Android applications identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. + Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge. + Develop and maintain documentation for all Android projects ensuring that all processes and procedures are clearly outlined. + Manage project timelines and resources effectively ensuring that all deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time. + Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. + Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project progress challenges and solutions. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Android development team. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong background in Android development with at least 8 years of hands-on experience. + Demonstrate expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages. + Have experience with Android SDK Android Studio and other relevant development tools. + Show a deep understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. + Display strong leadership and team management abilities. + Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications on time. + Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment. + Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. + Have experience working in a hybrid work model. + Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
