Job title - Ancillary Specialist

Department - Ancillary Portfolio Strategy and Growth

Reports to - Julia Mackey

Location - Singapore, Hong Kong, India

Job Summary:

The Ancillary Specialist will work cross-functionally across MillerKnoll Ancillary Brands throughout Asia partnering with sales, brand, product management, A&D, dealers, and customers. With a comprehensive understanding of the entire MillerKnoll Ancillary Portfolio, they will focus on customer needs, craft compelling proposals, and implement a strategic market approach to enhance ancillary sales and exposure in line with MillerKnoll’s growth strategy. The ultimate goal is to increase MillerKnoll ancillary sales through the efforts of the sales teams.

Specific Responsibilities

Analyse and master the Ancillary landscape across Asia.Work cross-functionally to understand and document the available MillerKnoll Ancillary portfolio by region.Engage with MillerKnoll sales, brands, dealers, A&D, and clients in the development, preparation, and presentation of Ancillary furniture to articulate a compelling Ancillary offer.Understand client buying signals and translate into a compelling Ancillary offer.Drive specification by working closely with influencers and clients to grow awareness for MillerKnoll’s Ancillary offering.Prepare design, application and specification recommendations, using the appropriate technology and presentation platforms.Serve as an expert in the market for the full set of MillerKnoll ancillary brands to assist Design, specification and portfolio navigation.Feedback market and competitive insights to inform and advantage our business position.Develop ongoing awareness on competitive products portfolios and positioning.Support training initiatives for internal and external parties.Continually review and advise on Ancillary growth opportunities.Engage in the customer conversation.Support building Ancillary in the dealer and A&D community.Build a strong Internal and external network.

Job holder requirements

Education/ Experience

Bachelors degree in Design or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years' experience in a sales and/or design experienceContract furniture experience desired.
