We are seeking a Certified Anaplan Solution Architech or Certified Master Anaplanner to help us propel our Anaplan solutions to the next level. 

 

In the is unique in-house role our Anaplan Solution Architect will take responsibility of rebuilding our Resource Management Tool. Owning the end to end build from working with the SMEs to scope the requirements; ensuring data is fully integrated from source systems; completing the model build and delivering user focused UX dashboards. 

 

As we are a small team the role will also encompass all areas of managing and maintaining our Anaplan landscape. This includes:

 

Migrating our existing models from manual uploads to using API. Integrating to our source systems using Data Factory, MS Azure, Databricks, Cloudworks and other APi and ETL tools. Managing our users, ensuring security is up to date and on/off boarding employees. Implementing Anaplan product releases into existing models  Completing model reviews to ensure efficiency and that Anaplan best practice is followed Trouble shooting user errors  Creating adhoc reports for users

 

We also have an exciting road map of future use cases including a Revenue Allocation Tool, Budget 2025 and a number of finance use cases that will improve the accuracy and efficiency of our finance teams. 

 

The role
The Group is currently in a growth phase, both organic and acquisitive and this role will assist in maintaining the current Anaplan landscape whilst developing enhancements, building new use cases and implementing them across the business.
The Qualitest Finance Team operate with a high degree of sophistication including utilising NetSuite, PowerBI, MS Azure, Databricks and Anaplan to provide real time information to the business.
The role will report to the Director, Finance Systems and will work alongside the Group and Regional Finance Teams as well as the wider business as required by our Anaplan landscape.
Key responsibilities

• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
• Act as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Run requirements gathering sessions and produce comprehensive documentation and use case requirements for approval
• Exemplify The Anaplan Way in all tasks
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution; Optimizing and troubleshooting Anaplan models to enhance performance or to incorporate new functionality
• Provide meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Director, Finance Systems and project teams
• Ensure data integrity and model accuracy through robust testing and validation processes.
• Lead data integration and migration solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage and Databricks.
• Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment
• Support the team to implement our Anaplan roadmap, coordinating and prioritizing roadmap initiatives, and provide recommendations and actions for improvements
• Participate in existing Anaplan model landscape maintenance 
• Build strong relationships across all Enablement teams to ensure Anaplan models meet business needs and knowledge and skill set is leveraged, providing training and support where needed
• Manage Anaplan security and administration including modules and dashboards. Ensuing company data is protected at all times.
• Assist with adhoc reporting and reconciliations 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Anaplan; implanting, maintaining, developing and building Anaplan complex models
• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field.
• Certified as Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Certified Master Anaplanner
• Experience of connecting data using Anaplan Connect, Cloudworks and other API tools
• Experience of integrating with the other ERP and reporting systems, ideally those in our landscape: NetSuite / Salesforce / ADP / Power BI / SuccessFactors
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage and Databricks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Including VBA), Word and PowerPoint skills
• Experience of delivering end to end use case implementations – from requirements gathering, solution documenting through to model build and implementation 
• Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical colleagues
• Ability to present to and work with all levels of management
• Strong numerical, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workload
• Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Change management and project management skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving methods
